OS X Steam Opens when I close a program?

Not sure where to put this.

When I quit a program, Steam will sometimes open afterwards for no reason. I didn't launch Steam. It just... opens.

It's incredibly annoying. Am I the only one?

This used to happen to me. Not that it's been fixed, as far as I know. I quit the Steam app when I'm not using it, instead of just closing out the window.

It is an annoying bug. I do the same thing as deadwulfe and just keep it closed when I am not using it.
