For those who have the x or xs not the max, is the steel band to glass transition smooth? My xs seems rough all round when I swipe from glass to steel or steel to glass. I vaguely remember the max was quite smooth like the steel and glass melted together into one piece.

mine feels like a sold well engineered device. not the slightest snag or gap .

Below my screen is a bit rough...seems to be collecting a bit of lint too. Contemplating returning or ordering a second device and returning.
