Many people think Steve Jobs is dead. We'll he is in physical form. Tim cook is doing a great job. Apple has never been anymore apple since Tim took over. I believe he is doing things as Steve would, but only better.

Hard to believe right? Let's concentrate on these facts to my reasoning.

1. Steve Jobs trust Tim cook

2. Steve taught Tim everything he knows about apple, his way of doing things and his way of thinking.

3. Steve gave Tim a game plan for the future of apple after he's gone. Tim Cook is Steve jobs now.

4. Tim makes many of the same choices as Steve would if he was still alive.

5. Tim is a more giving person than Steve jobs and this is the key to an even better iPhone.

6. Tim isn't as cheap as Steve jobs

7. Tim has deeper feelings, being gay has helped apple, a more sensitive guy.

What this has done is we will keep getting the great iPhone that we always have, but even better. Steve would never give you anymore than needed if it makes little to no difference in profit.

Tim has used Steve's same business sense going from iPhone 6 to iPhone 6s to iPhone SE...

Now the little things where Tim improved on... More options, Steve would of never went with the 5.5 inch screen in the plus or at least not when Tim did.. You'd of got a 4 inch screen and the 4.7 as the big screen phone... With Steve...

iPhone 7 will be amazing either way with Steve or Tim, but will go that little extra with Tim regardless if it doesn't make much difference in profit. I think the iPhone 7 will be slightly better under Tim's watch than if it was under Steve's watch...But very close....

Now let's review the facts stated earlier in my post... Tim is a more giving person, more sensitive and the gay side helps, it's more feminine and just more loving...

Bottom line... Almost an inch bigger, better screen, and more money into the phone itself... Tim Cook is every much apple as Steve Jobs...

I can't believe you wrote this. Talk about stereotyping!! I know gay people who are not "sensitive". Shock horror!

Last year Tim got up in front of the assembled technology reporters and proudly announced the new IPhone 6s and 6S Plus would start at 16 GB. Oh and so far, no new Mac Pro.

Tim is different and he does come across as a very nice guy. We are starting to see where he's having to venture beyond where Steve would have taken the various product lines. But there are many decisions and paths that he's taken that have already been discussed to death about how they indicate he's more of a bean counter than a visionary with an eye toward the end user experience the way Steve was. I'll wait and see how the next couple of years go. I think he's done well taking Apple past the immediate crisis of Steve's death. Now he's got to become more than the custodian and either become the visionary or hire people who have vision so we can see a "and one more thing" that is not some lame music video recapping every talking point of the WWDC presentation.

Gotta be in it to win it
It seems people who had some type of attachment to SJ dislike the way TC is handling the company and downplay any contribution TC has made while at the same time saying, what would SJ have done ignored SJ may have missed the mark post 2011. He wasn't infallible.

Tim is and will always be about making money. He isn't a visionary nor has any of the anal attentiveness to perfection as Steve did. Tim cares about stockholders and margins.

Tim does care about stockholders and margins... As he very well should as his first duty as a fiduciary officer of the company...as well as the environment, labor conditions in China, security, using their platform to alter people's lives, human rights, philanthropy plus a few more things I'm forgetting. So yeah, he gets a thumbs up.

Well, before we start pointing fingers. To bear in mind, there's a board of directors which Tim needs to report and answer to. Steve was ultimately a co-founder of apple and along with his vision that allowed him to have more muscle over the board.

Sure, many of us didn't agree to the direction and decisions which Tim and his current "A" Team made. Apple is definitely not what it used to be. Maybe it's time to nurture talent and prepare the next generation of executives to lead apple and its future.

Something Steve Jobs never did that Tim Cook does: Ship junk.
Steve Jobs said:
You’ll find that our products are not premium priced. You price out our competitors’ products, and add features that actually make them useful, and they’re the same or actually more expensive. We don’t offer stripped-down, lousy products.

Intel Graphics, 5400RPM disks, single port laptops, Mac Minis of lesser spec and performance than yesteryear, non-upgradable RAM in a desktop or laptop computer - for more money than competition in almost all cases.

You do now Steve, you do now.

Heresy, I know. Torches and pitchforks are on sale at Lowe's right now.
