Why yes, young padawan, the logo was indeed upside-down back in the day.

Methinks that's a Powerbook of the Wallstreet/Lombard variety...

There's no FireWire port and the keyboard is black, so it's either Wallstreet or the lesser known "PDQ" that was the second revision of the Wallstreet.

It was on the PowerBook G4 Titaniums that they finally realized they should just flip the Apple Logo in order to have it display properly when the computer was open. I even remember watching that keynote.
