i have attached a photograph of these little adhesive stickers that are for sale for iPhone 8 and older iPhones that cover the front facing camera.

I am wondering if any kind of sticker is available for sale for the iPhoneX, iPhone XS/Max and iPhone XR.

I don’t plan on using the Face ID unlock feature.

Exactly.

Which is why the original question I posed is important. Until I can find such an accessory I’ll be sticking with my 7+.

assuming your phone is infected (of course there are ways to minimise this risk), the biggest problem is you getting spied on. Depending on the location of your laptop, it is likely that it could capture most of the room, hence also people in compromising positions. However, the front camera on iphone is mostly facing the ceiling, facing down or just able to capture your face, so Im not too worried. you can definitely be more careful about it.

Furthermore, if you phone is indeed infected, i have bigger concerns than the front camera, such as your personal information, location, passwords, banking details, etc.

now i see it

It's been rumored that Zuckerberg himself sticks a black sticker over his front facing camera. So if he's doing it, the king of snooping, that tells you something right there.

If you think that PRISM is a joke, I seriously recommend you to consult a psychiatrist in the near future.
Projection?

Yeah he is a target for many reasons, those same reasons is why 99% of us are not.

So, back to the topic at hand, does anyone have a solution for covering the Face ID notch? Or at the very least the cameras there within?

This paranoia is unhealthy. Just saying it to help.

There are much bigger things to concern yourself with.

I understand what your saying but I think the Prism comment another member mentioned is important. Sure I’m not a high profile individual like Zuckerberg but I do not want even the slightest chance of anyone spying on me. And I’m literally facing my phone 16 hours a day so it’s a big deal to me.

Agreed.

If there’s nothing to hide, why be worried about it?

As others have said, things stored on the phone such as personal details etc are far more valuable have someone looking semi-boss eyed at their phone all day.

Duct/Duck tape will cover a multitude of issues.
Any office supply store (or any other store that sells office/misc goods, such as tape or adhesives) can be a good place to find "camera stickers", etc.
Or, a good splash of paint, or other kind of goo, will "foil" any attempt at using the camera.
I'm guessing that you have already fixed the little issue of FaceID, so it won't matter if those sensors are covered, too.
