I think I saw this topic somewhere on here but now I can't find it soooo....
Anyone MacBook have keys that stick? I've noticed my 'F' key, when pushed, stays down until I tap it. Not all the time but enough to notice...obviously!
I'm sure it's not a big problem BUT I did drop $1500 on it....bought it in Canada.

Yeah, K key sticks like not other. If I press the key to the right, it will stick down. If I type something like "ok ok" and it sticks the first time, it irritates the hell out of me because I dont feel the depression the second time, making me think I missed the key or something. It really annoys the hell out of me. Im going to the mac store tommorow and see what they can do. I really dont want them to replace it because my system is FLAWLESS right now other than the key.

If worse comes to worse and they do replace it, Im going to first see what the guy says about the mooing situation and see if they replace them because of problems like that.

I have no clue what the 'moo' is everyone is talking about. Every now and then I hear the fan kick in but it doesnt moo? What is this moo everyone speaks of?

The mooing is basically the fan kicking in and then quickly off again, over and over. This is due to the systems temperature being too close to the point where it would turn on the fan.

My up arrow doesn't stick down but 1 in 10 times just doesn't register  . Even just holding it down sometimes it will stop scrolling up etc, the other 3 arrow keys are fine. I'm expecting Apple to tell me it's within spec - 'press it harder and slightly to the left of the key', where it seems to work slightly better.

At the moment I'm disappointed with my first Mac/Book - It's very hot to touch, especially around the ASX section of the keyboard, and the hinge area on the screen side. The speakers are very quiet even on max volume. It's doesn't bluetooth browse my phone, even tho it can isync and find the device within bluetooth file exchange.
Wifi only works if I enter a full 128bit hex key rather than a passphase, all the other choices failed to connect - I even had to change my Hub to use 128bit keys.
The keyboard is tempermental, it moo's plus the user servicable memory cover was sealed with thread lock:confused:

ahh ha... i wrote a brief comment about my strange key issue the other day, and glad(?) to see its not just my funky typing style thats causing a bit of a problem. My 'O' key is a bit out of whack... it doesnt get stuck down, but when pressed, about 1 outof 6 times it seems to fail. I then have to delete back a couple of letters and insert the missing vowel- very strange.. but no moo or whine, or high temp.. just not flawless.. yeeah rev A- its all wrth it though...(that ne was left out on purpose.. but the o within this parentesis was real damnit!)

I just took my system to the apple store and the genius looked at it and pressed it down once and stuck and he said, "Oh wow, that is definately annoying." He said I have either the option of fixing it or getting a new one. I chose get a new one. Since I didnt bring my box and junk, he said I can come back anytime and just get it exchanged within my 14 days and tell the guy at the counter that I already had gotten it checked out by a genius and that I needed it to be exchanged (2nd time now, first time I just wanted to go black)
