I bought a new MacBook yesterday and the space bar actually sticks all the way down. Have to tap it several times to get it to let go. Is this an easy fix from the Genius Bar where I bought it in my Apple Store or will they replace it? Thanks

Have it checked

I would have it checked out. Don't kid yourself into thinking that it will go away, because even if it does, it could only be for the short term, and it could return.

Yeah, I'd go in and get it looked at. They'll probably just replace the key. In the future, though, you really shouldn't get that on your computer. Kinda gross.

get a new topcase ;-) that's what they'll do... much easier/faster than replacing the key... I know... my 4th topcase is put in to place as we speak :p but mine never sticked... they changed in color :S

I've only had it 2 days. Will they send it out for new top case or give me a new one?

depends on the store I guess... but I bet they will send it out and not give you a new one yet, but maybe they will not want the hassle and give you another one... since its been 2 days... but nobody really knows how the repair universe at apple works :D seems to me its powered by the improbability drive... one day you get to your destination, the next... whale's fall from the sky... ;)
