iPhone Sticky status bar

Has anyone come across this issue with their device? My status bar (wifi, battery etc) is always on display even when it shouldn't be! For example viewing a video or a fullscreen photo, however everything is fine in fullscreen games and youtube.
Issue must with apples video/photo viewer? Just a guess though.

Ive used iCleaner Pro to disable all tweaks but that didn't help the issue, so resorted for any advice from here!

add the repo "repo.pnre.co.vu" and install statusbarfix2; that will fix your problems for now

there hasn't be an official fix out yet
