Looking for a pair of noise canceling overears. Apples looks promising. Is the June release still in the cards?

Yes, Tim said so yesterday

We have no idea. The closest thing we can do is to follow and see what might happen to/at WWDC, as it was rumored to be introduced at that point... which is not equal a launch date soon.
But if you want overear noice canceling headphones there are plenty of good models out there. And considering we have no idea how apples will be, you should maybe look for something else if you need at pair in the near future.

Any experience with these yourself that you can share? Looked at some random Amazon reviews and although they mention good customer service multiple people also mentioned these don’t last very long. Which I kind of expect at that price point.

No I do not have any experience with them.

It was just an article that I found relevant to the forum topic discussion.

If you have the “big bucks” maybe you rather go for the BOSE or SONY that seem relatively discounted as well at the moment.

Bose has some good stuff usually. I had a pair of QC 25 that lasted about three years of heavy use. The ear cushions usually need replacement in that time but they do have spares to sell.

Or hold back for the Apple edition but that might be a loooong wait.

I think whenever it happens they are capable of redefining this specific headphone area just like they did with the AirPods.

And yes they will not come cheap.
