Still get pop ups for password on old AppleID

I had to change my email for my AppleID, but in my iPhone I still get pop ups now and then asking for the password for the old AppleID.

I restored from iCloud to my new 5s when I got it, I don't use the old email (the email service was closing), so only need my new one.

How can I get "rid" of the old AppleID?

You probably still have some DRMed content (apps or videos) on the device that were downloaded when you still used the old email address. If you redownload it now, the old address should be gone.

Ah that might be it. I thought they would just "convert" to the new email address though?

Anyway to find out which apps that were bought with the old email?

"Get Info" for the item in iTunes shows them embedded Apple ID.

Only on my iMac that I'll be able to check this then. Is there any easier way? Or do I have to go through everything individually?

So I'll have to download them all to convert them to my new email AppleID? Or can I just play them?

When exactly do you get the popups on the phone? Is the Apple ID editable then?

No, you don't have to download them all. The only issue is that sometimes popups required for authorizing playback, in-app purchases etc. will be pre-populated with the old (now invalid) Apple ID.

The AppleID is not tied to a specific eMail address. If you have associated more than one address with your AppleID, you can use any of them but it's still the same AppleID.

If you sign up for iCloud Mail, you can even use that address, too.

The old email is not on the same AppleID, I understand what you mean now. The old email I've had to completely get rid of as the service is becoming a paid for email, I have a free gmail which is fine.

Actually I haven't tried editing it! Not sure if I can delete the email. So what your saying is when the pop up comes on with the old email, delete it, out new email and password in and try?

Just had a pop up on my iPad, and the email wasn't editable, on,y the password

Having had a few pop ups on my iPhone I have managed to edit both the email and enter the password, it popped up with the old email so I changed it to the new one.

However still seems to be happening. Really frustrating this, anything else I can do?
 
I change my AppleIDfrom gmail to outlook. It was a pain, but I signed out of everything that was on the iPhone; iTunes, App Store, friend my friends, find my iPhone, iTunes Match, Game Center, and everything else. If you're updating an app and the pop up for the old ID, delete those apps and redownlpas them.

Thanks I'll try that, I haven't signed out if everything before on the iPhone so it may be that?
 
Still happening....and really annoying! Tried above suggestions, get the pop up, change to new email and password and same.
 
So so frustrating still getting this pop up!!

Anything else I can try? How do I find what is associated with this AppleID on my iPhone?
