General Still getting autocorrect bug on iOS 11.1.1

It only patches your device to make sure you're not sending the autocorrect bug. It can't do anything about someone else who hasn't updated their device and still typing with the bug.
Why would you expect it to change what other people had already wrote? The bug occurred when you typed something, not viewed it.
