Has anyone else noticed emails in their inbox on the iphone but then as soon as you click on them they disappear?

Before i updated to 10.5.6 today (wed 17th) i had 3 emails in my iphone inbox. When i went to my MM inbox on the web it firstly said my inbox wasn't available, then when it did log in the 3 emails weren't there. Then i went to click on the email on my iphone and now all 3 have disappeared.

I know the the MM inbox is now working as since this i have received emails as normal (in my MM inbox on the web and the iphone) but it basically looks like ive lost those email for good now!

Nice to see the MM problems still exist, what has it been now.....6 months after release ?!

I don't use MM for mail, but my iPhone does that with my gmail and yahoo accounts.

When I go into the mail program on the iPhone, it shows the emails as they were the last time the iPhone synced. A lot of the time, I've deleted/filed emails on the computer since that last iPhone mail sync. So the iPhone still shows those emails, even though they aren't really in the Inbox ... usually takes it 5-10 seconds before it connects in the background and resyncs the correct Inbox emails.

Still having problems

After a bit of a gap since the last problems MM seems to be back to its old tricks again. Twice in the last week it has do the same thing of showing a new email, its physically there as i can open it, read it, see the attachments and then within the 10 seconds or so it takes to log to the server and check for new mail the new emails have gone. Its not in another folder, it hasn't been deleted, its not in my iphone email, my web based MM email or on my mail on my macbook!!!!

Its getting beyond a joke and as there is a gap between the times it happens i think its something happening at the apple server end. Unfortunately my first year of MM is getting close (well, 3 months away) and im seriously thinking about way i should stay with this "service". If you can call it that.

That's odd. I've never had that problem.

I have seen the unread count disappear after I go into my mail on the iphone, but that's because I've already read and/or deleted the messages in mail.app.

Otherwise I have never lost a message.
