Kind of hard to complain about lack of flash on Apple's mobile device when Adobe can't meet schedules.

It's on Android 2.1 because I'm using it and it works great ;) See HTC Desire.

It's probably not on the older Android devices yet because they have weak processors in them, actually I will honestly be surprised if it's ever available for the older Android devices due to the lack of power but who knows...

Flash isn't built into Android natively. HTC builds it into their Sense UI. I also had it on my HTC Hero & to tell you the truth, I hated it on there. Made the browser run like crap whenever any flash was in the page, even small banner ads.

Adobe will likely push Flash back even further than people are hoping for. They went from the first half release date to a second half of 2010 date. Seeing that they're never early with anything, I sont see it becoming a reality until prob late in the year. Which by that time, more iPads & iPhones will be out in the wild & tons more sites will have moved to Html5 so they can take advantage of having all their content available to those users. This stuff happens relatively fast.

So basically every day that Adobe doesn't have Flash on these other mobile platforms is a day they inch closer to Flash dying.

Inch closer to dying, eh? Sounds like iPad sickness. You ate too many Apples. :D

I can visit the Marvel comics page (flash) on my HTC Hero phone. The only reason specialized apps exist for otherwise available flash content is so Apple device owners can caugh up money for what everyone else can get for free. That's the Apple way.

Yep, evil Apple forces companies like Marvel to charge for their apps. All those poor companies are not allowed to provide people with free apps to access their free content. Bad Steve Jobs...BAD!

Yeah Flash Beta  But where is the actual Gold Release of Flash 10.1 moble

I don't know but it's working well enough, I can't see why they would push it off that far unless they arebtrying to use the same version for the older android phones. If they actually get flash working on those older phones with 600mhz processors itnwould be a miracle LOL. You can find the flash betas online though to use if you have a decent phone so no worries when they officially release it really.
