I’m using Edge and Firefox on my Windows PCs and at least those browsers have the option on how much Ad Blocking and Tracking protection you want like Balanced, Strict, or Customized.

I would of hoped Apple had this by now for Safari in this iOS 17 update…But apparently not. Still getting tons of ads.

Safari is really Ad intensive and maybe the worst out of all browsers.
 
I think there are some new options in Settings but if you want to block ads you still have to use an extension.
 
Safari has never blocked ads unless you install an app with a content blocker extension. I use 1Blocker personally.
