Hard to believe you still can't print, save to PDF, or do anything else with an email in the stock Mail app. I don't consider these "power user" features, so the lack of functionality and UI consistency is puzzling.

Luckily we have other mail app options, like Spark.

(Yes, I already left feedback for Apple)

Apple Mail still lacks lots of features. I use Spark but Airmail is also pretty good and overall even has more features then Spark but also lacks the option to select multiple file attachments from e.g. Dropbox to attach to an e-mail which I use a lot so that is why I decided to stick with Spark. The sync between iPhone and iPad Spark app is still bad. When I read all e-mails on Spark iPhone I still see the badge icon on my iPad even after a few minutes. I did allow refresh in the background on both devices.

See also my comparison I created when I used iOS8. A lot of things are still the case with Apple Mail that it's not there.

Print is hidden in the Reply button menu.

I agree, the lack of a share sheet is a bit baffling.

I believe if you go print an email (from the reply button) and pinch zoom the email preview it will open it up in a full screen that then has the share sheet. Totally not intuitive, but seems to be a useful workaround.

You're absolutely right! There's a share sheet!

I have a 'Convert to PDF' app installed too so I can now Print as a PDF.

Well done lax28!

Totally not obvious but its there.

I get that iOS has to have a minimalist interface that's cleaner and more conducive to touch input on small screens, but this just about qualifies as an Easter Egg.

Yeah...

As a mac user, I've always thought once on the print screen there should be a save as pdf option for any and all printing, maybe one day they'll add it there. But this like choosing open in preview on a mac, and of course once in that full preview view all of the sharing options come back.

Glad to be of help and hopefully more people see this useful "trick"
