Still not waking screen

After updating to 7.1 I fully expected to see, at least the option to wake the screen on mouse movement.
I use my mini as an entertainment system and not being able to wake it up with the remote is a real pain in the ^%^(**
I submitted a request to apple for this to be implemented.

I think this is a "feature" I noticed this in the very fist beta builds of lion. You have to click a mouse button to get it to wake not just move the mouse.
