When I plug into iTunes it says that my software is up to date. I'm afraid that since I'm using the GM that the software may expire. Any ideas? Cheers.

The GM does not expire.

EDIT: There isn't anything different anyways it would be a waste if your internet service provider is capped.

You'll be fine but if u really want click restore. It'll download and install the released ios5
