hi guys,
I had this notion after reading from many sources that new Macbooks(Pro) will feature 800 Mhz DDR 3 RAM and still they are using DDR2 RAM?

800mhz DDR3 ram will not be supported until Montevina's release in summer. That's probably where you got that idea from.

You probably read this from someone assuming that the "new" MBPs wouldn't come out until the summer/autumn with Intel's Montevina platform. The next update *should* use 800MHz DDR3 RAM from what I know. But, that's not this update. I still think this new update is pretty rad.
