STILL Unable to Set Album Artwork to songs with iOS 10.1...

This issue has persisted since iOS 10.0.1. Very disappointing that Apple hasn't fixed it yet.

Also, yes, the metadata matches and this happens with any song.

If you're using Apple Music or iTunes Match, make sure you refresh it in iTunes. Might need to also switch off and on iCloud Music Library on your devices.

Then how is your music being transferred to your device? Manual iTunes sync?

How much space do you have left on the device? I have this problem on my iPod Touch where I have less than 600 MB of free space. The same library syncs fine on my iPhone though.

I just transfer the song directly onto the device from Windows Explorer, not through the iTunes library.

iTunes doesn't automatically embed artwork into the file, so if you're just using Expolorer to sync that is likely your problem.

Check out Doug's Scripts for a way to bulk embed.

Yeah that's definitely why you're not seeing the artwork. Any reason why you don't use iTunes?

I have this problem too from the time that I start to use iOS 10 betas till now that I'm on 10.1 public.
From that time if i change my old song's artwork or transfer new song from my pc to my phone with iTunes, the artwork of that song changed on my phone with random artwork from my other songs or albums! But the artwork on my pc shows correctly in explorer.
I tried to delete all my albums and re sync them, but no chance. Also I'm on the latest iTunes version too.
Is that a known bug or should I do this in another way?!
