I'm still waiting for an Apple Store here in Vancouver, it's about time considering the sheer population of Mac users here, at my school 75% of everyone uses Macs.

Yeah, I'd love to see one in Van as well. I have a ton of friends and some family there and would love to have an Apple Store to frequent when I'm there visiting. :)

Broadway alone has two Apple resellers. I shop frequently at Simply Computing, since it's only a walk 4 songs away (how mac geeky am I?), staff are super helpful, and they have a reasonable selection of stuff in-store.

Not happy to see competition, but if there was an Apple store smack downtown near the London Drugs area, then I would visit it often. :)

Well, if you are getting desperate you can always visit our store in Lynnwood, WA :)

It'd be nice. I would hate to see the last few independent resellers here shut down (SimplyComputing appears to do fairly well for itself), but it would be a guilty pleasure for me to see the agony that is the UBC campus Apple store get its act together. They're pretty apathetic when it comes to repairs and bulk orders for campus services.

I agree that Vancouver is generally Apple-friendly, though, especially the universities (I always get a chuckle thinking I might run into some of you without knowing it).

I would love an Apple store in 604 too. Because I am quite tired of the service that the UBC bookstore offers, like Marble above me stated. By the way, Marble, you work at UBC?

I am a student there. ITServices and groups like Photosoc (a friend of mine runs this) have to go through the bookstore to get orders filled, and it's just such a hassle.
