The calendar works well on the iPhone but as with my old cell phone the calendar alarm sucks.

If I set an alarm it will only notify me once and I don't have the option to pick a tone.

Is there an app that will allow me to set an alarm in the future (3 weeks from now at 7am) and have it go off like the alarm clock alarm (with snooze, ring tone ect).

I'm basically looking for an app that is the already existing alarm clock except with a date field.

thanks,
JOe K.

Nope, since it would have to either interact with the alarm app in such a way that is not allowed under the SDK, or it would have to be running in the background, also not allowed under the SDK. Maybe there is an app out there for jailbroken phones, look into it.

I don't have a jailbroken phone. I don't even need the app to interact with the alarm clock just act like it.

The calendar would suffice if the alarm would have to be turned off or snoozed after it goes off.

That is one of my biggest complaints with the iPhone, even RIM has this. Users should be able to customize ALL their tones based on their needs. The Mail/VoiceMail/Calendar/SMS is all too low for my needs.
