Stock calendar widget: Suddenly black circle instead of red circle

For some reason, I suddenly have today highlighted by a black circle instead of a red circle in the stock calendar widget. Does anyone know what's the reason? Thanks!

Still red for me

Mine was white for a while then changed back to red.

Update: Since December 2, it's back to red. Really weird, lol.
