I recently upgraded my Macbook to 2gb of ram, and am trying to figure out what to do with the stock memory. What else can these sticks be used in? Are they backwards compatible with any other Apple machines? The last time I dealt with ram I was selling off my PC100 to buy PC133, so that should tell you how familiar I am with all these newfangled contraptions.

Someone who purchased a stock macbook with 512 mb ram might be interested in purchasing them.

Why would they though? Unless their own ram crapped out........

actually, they wouldn't, because the macbook comes with 2 slots filled with two 256MB so-dimms modules.

So if one were to give away the extra 256, it would be worthless...
