I'm pretty sure the price on Apple already considers its release. I don't think you can count on a big enough spike to make an option pay for itself.

And there's a whole lot of downside potential in a stock that is so closely watched and is sitting at such a high price.

I think it has a lot of upside left. It's been climbing steady. I think we'll see 270 within the next year.

That's possible, but they would have to show increased earnings from here. The genius of the iPhone is the app store revenue that they get a piece of. Unless the Tablet adds this, or they come up with an App system for OS X that replaces the Dashboard widgets, one where people start buying them, I can't see the earnings moving up.

Apple has remained strong in a poor economy, but that can't last forever.
