...and Steve Jobs showed up right after I left! Palo Alto is one of the closest and nicest stores to the Apple Campus.
Anyway, I took a jack-in-the-box I made of Steve Jobs- called the iPop. (I'm an artist, jack-in-the-boxes is how I make my living. They are wooden and handmade with hand sculpted heads.) The moment I stepped onto the block where the line was, I was mobbed by news reporters and the all the folks in the line. They had cameras and video cameras and notepads- I swear I felt like Paris Hilton. I merely went there to share in the joy about the newest Apple gadget, and show off my cool creation. Wow! I was not prepared! Some of the footage may appear on the Today Show tomorrow, as CNBC interviewed me. They said they were submitting the segment, so we'll see if that actually flies.
