Hi all,

I woke up this morning with 4 emails from Apple. It seems someone has been making purchases using my Apple ID. Some of the apps had Chinese names...so obviously not something I bought

I changed my password, which is all I know how to do to prevent anymore purchases. Also, I called 800-MY-APPLE, and they just directed me to the itunes.com/support website, which had NOTHING I needed.

I need some opinions and suggestions. Is there anything else I can do to stop the purchases? And (more importantly) can I get my money back!? Is there a website or email address I can send my concerns to or something?

Thanks in advance for all who help

To let everyone know, I went to
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

Then click on "Get iTunes Support Via Express Lane"

This will give you the option to email a support agent that can help. I finally got someone (after looking all morning) that is a GREAT help. He is walking me step by step, and basically said he would disable my account and re-enable it after I change my information. He also said he would investigate the unauthorized purchases.

Hopefully I'll get my money back. :/

...hoping maybe this forum will help someone with a similar problem...

Just in case anyone would like to know....

I got an email yesterday afternoon saying I would get a refund for the stolen amount. I had contact with two representatives that helped me get my account back to the way it was before anything ever happened.

Honestly, every business should treat their customers the way Apple does. They have, hands down, the BEST customer service I have ever talked to (and yes I talk to plenty...Sony, Samsung, Microsoft, Dell, AT&T, you name it). I had almost no wait time before I was replied to the first time. They walked me through everything I needed to reset my account. And they (best of all) gave me a refund to the last penny for everything I lost in less than 48 hours.
