Hi,

I recently lost/had my iPhone stolen which I since replaced. However, when I went to restore a backup from iCloud today I noticed that the person who is now in possession of my phone has renamed it and it made one backup to iCloud before it was unlinked from my account. I restored from an earlier backup under my own name which has kept all of my previous settings with the exception of my contacts which have all been overwritten on iCloud with the new "owners" contacts. Does anyone know if it is possible to restore contacts only from a previous iCloud backup as I dont have them stored on my Mac.

do you notice any common contacts? ... could lead to who has your phone

A few of the contacts are based on Bangladesh so it does give an idea of who has it and I have their first name. I think I'm going to try sending a message to a few contacts to pass a message on that the phone was stolen and it will be reported to the police but dont hold out much hope of getting it back now.
