Ok, so as you may know you can add Apple stores on iChat. So i have a few added and just now ars015.01@mac.com came online. I said hi to the guy and asked which Apple store it was and he said:
yeah
u this isnt an apple sotre
i just bought my computer

then he said:

it was 30% off if i bought it from the displaus

The AIM account would appear to be from the Apple store,Newport Beach, CA

What do you guys think?

That's a tad creepy, you adding the Apple stores computer?

Umm...he/she may have purchased it, I imagine they would have wiped it?

If you are that concerned, call the Apple Store.

Here is what you do, call the apple store and tell them what happened. Ask them if they have recently sold or have had a display stolen. If they say yes, simply tell them what has happened.

If its stolen, who know, perhaps its traceable through ISP. If it is sold, get the apple to contact the buyer and wipe it.

WOOHOO

I personally would find it cool. It'd be nice being at the Apple Store and seeing peoples set up and stuff like that! And then just the ability to connect with a store and see whos doing what is interesting.

I can't seem to get one of them to add me/be online. I've added four so far, but I think I'll go ahead and add the whole list xD
