iPhone Stop Apple TV sports notifications

How do I turn this stuff off. In the TV settings I have disabled the notifications for featured sports and time sensitive notifications.

I just want to follow the Teams from the sports app and not be driven crazy. I do not mind that the Teams themselves sync to News and TV.

If I turn off the sync feature in sports it won't let me add new teams or leagues unless I turn it back on.

The only way I was able to stop this was by unfollowing my teams... it was driving me nuts and there didn't seem to be a way to stop it other than just outright unfollowing the team. If there is another way to do this I would love to know as well.

Depending on if you have upgraded to iOS 18, you can turn off Live Activities for any app in Settings -> App -> [App Name].
