Stop excel opening CSV files by default

If I click on a CSV document in the FILES app on my iPhone or iPad it automatically opens the document in Microsoft Excel instead of using quick look to preview the document in the Files app.

It never used to do this before and I don’t see a way to stop it happening.

Anybody if there’s a solution?

1: it’s on iOS not a Mac
2: the original behaviour was click the file and the files app previewed it without opening it in any specific application.

Ah, sorry, I didn't see what forum I was in. To my knowledge no, you can't select the default app in iOS. You can try removing Excel but I suspect that when you reinstall it, it will just go back to using it again.
