When I play music (e.g.) using itunes I am interested to stop any network and internet traffic. However, since the last few versions of iTunes iTunes, when switching songs, always complains that "it could not connect to the iTunes Store. The host is down". Of course it cannot connect because I forbid it by temporary Little Snitch settings and this unpleasant warning also pops up when I unplug the ethernet cable. What are the settings within iTunes to stop it making unnecessary calls to the store?

I already logged ot of my account, unauthorized my mac and stopped sharing in iTunes. All this doesn't help.

Thanks for helping!

Try disabling access to the iTunes Store in parental restrictions in iTunes preferences.
