Stop my email addresses from Populating!!!

A buddy of mine has two email addresses. I only want to send to one address and never to the other…so ive eliminated the address I don’t want to from his contact in exchange. That said, occasionally, I’ll send an email from the iphone or from exchange and the old address, which must be cached somewhere, gets populated. How do I eliminate this?
