can somebody help me, ive put a load of quicktime clips online but i don't want them to start downloading unless someone presses play (to save bandwidth) any ideas if this can be done?

removed link by me

Why not just put stills instead of the video on that page, write something like "Click to Play" underneath, and then when a still is clicked link to a new page with the appropriate video on it? If you don't want things to get too cluttered you can add these new pages without having their headings appear in the navigation menu, it's one of the inspector options.

I use QTObject Javascript to handle the embedding of movies. It handles situations where the browser doesn't have the Quicktime plugin, plus lets you do the still image "click to play" that telecomm mentioned and set various configuration variables like autostart.
