Half of the websites I log into with TouchID, Catalina pops up a window suggesting my password should be changed because it's easy to guess, so I always just hit Not Now.

Is there a way to prevent this popup?

How important are those websites to you? If your password is easy to guess, then it's easy to hack. How much damage would it do if someone guessed one of your passwords and broke into your account? I always allow keychain to create a strong password, and I don't worry about losing that password because it's contained in keychain - it's always there when I need it. One way to turn off that message is to create a stronger password.

No damage, because it's just forums like this where being hacked would be non-consequential.

On that note, can I also turn off Keychain trying to create 20 character alpha numeric strong passwords? Would also like to stop those suggestions while I'm at it.

seems reasonable that we'd have options; if we want to disable that message, or stop keychain from inputting a long password into a new password window... and we're willing to take responsibility for our choices, we should be able to do that. i get tired too of both of those things...

Yes, it is good to have choices, @fisherking makes a good point. There is an Apple support document that contains some Q&A about iCloud Keychain that may be of interest: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204085
