I don't want my iPhone text shortcuts to synch with my Mac, or vice-versa.

Is there any way to turn this off without losing other functionality?

Shortcuts sync with Documents & Data. You can't turn off only shortcuts.

I need Documents & Data.

So is there a way to turn off text shortcuts on my Mac, entirely? I'm guessing if I delete them individually, they'll also disappear from my iPHone (ah, synergy)

Why do you need to turn them off? If you don't use them, they won't affect anything.

I could give you a long answer that would leave you saying "Oh, okay". Probably easier just to point out that everyone's computing environment is a little different.
