Click to expand... I suspect it is in System Preferences >> App Store Uncheck "Automatically check for updates". That should stop the system checking for updates and bugging you to update. dianeoforegon macrumors 6502a Apr 26, 2011 907 137 Oregon Dec 31, 2017 #4 Control-Click (Right-click) in the High Sierra banner in App Store for High Sierra. Select Hide Update. Next in System Preferences > App Store, uncheck Download newly available updates in the background.
