I just washed my phone back to factory settings and one thing (amongst many) that I hate about iOS 17.2.1 was that the volume 'abruptly' automatically lowers to almost zero at 20% battery when you are watching a video. If you continue watching the same video and not changing to something else which would auto change the volume setting again, the volume would slowly increase back to normal and then cut right off again back to almost zero when it hit the 10% battery threshold. I understand Apple's concept of "we are helping you save the battery" but I say again please don't make it mandatory, give the user the ability to control everything with a manual setting.
My question is, is there a way to prevent this from happening, any setting buried deep in the OS somewhere? And if not, is this volume setting flexibility available in iOS 18.5 if I decide to upgrade to that OS? Also, System Data cache is still installed in iOS 18.5 I'm guessing?
