Stopping javascript flickering on IE and fixing Safari problems...

I just added a new menu on the left side of the page. It works perfectly in Firefox. On my PC, it flickers with IE 6. Safari is worse...

Any idea what is wrong?

My menu is laid out in a series of "div" tags.

nevermind, I fixed it.

I might as well not waste the thread...so I guess I'll ask for some feedback. What do you think? This is the first time I've asked "what do you think" to anyone but my client...so I'm interested in some different feedback. My client loves it, so thats really all that counts.
