Everytime I restart my Mac Studio when it opens is seems like a have every application I have ever opened from the time of the Dinosaurs stacking up on my screen. I have to closed all of them to get back to the home screen. I have looked for away to stop this and I am sure there must be away of doing but I have not found it yet. On my Windows machines such applications opened in the background. But I have stuff opening that as far as I know should not. I have the TOR browser installed. I rarely use it but it is one of the many pages that opens on restart. I have looked in the open at login stack and none of the applications listed are opening up in the open.

When you go to the Apple Menu > Restart option, there is an option to reopen windows when logging back in. If you uncheck that option, you should come back up to the desktop after a restart.
