I have a couple of ios9 problems lately on my 6+. First, the touch screen become unrsponsive and I had to hard reset the phone. And the second problem, last time I plugged my phone while I sleep and everything was closed, but my phone download things I don't know about and take up 20-25GB of space, it is insane. When I go to see the storage details, there is realy 20-25GB I dont know where it is anymore. I never got this kind of problem before.

Now I have 270MB free space and I don't know what to do. I don't want to restore once again... Anybody have this problem?

The "other" bar is almost full and the minute I delete something, the phone download and I don't know what the file download is. My ipad have the same configuration as my phone and no issues. Now it says I have 160MB left.

This happened to me too. I found that there was nearly 20gb of space eaten up on my iPhone 6+ by "Other." The only thing I can think is that this is due to a nasty crash that Apple Music had in the first few weeks it was available. I had a LOT of music downloaded (about 20gb, not coincidentally) on my iPhone and Apple Music crashed, and then all of that music was just... gone. Had to redownload it. Took me ages to realize that I was missing that space, but I plugged in my iPhone last week to back it up before iOS 9 and saw the big yellow bar. I set up the phone as new and am back to normal. So there's your solution - clean install of iOS.

Same thing happened to me on iPhone 5s and my iPad. I had plenty of storage and then yesterday I was amazingly out of storage on both devices. I deleted lots of videos and photos and restarted my phone and had more storage, minutes later it was full again even though I didn't do anything. Today I'm getting notices that iCloud is full even though there is plenty of storage space.

I've had to reset and restore before. Besides the fact that I hate doing it, I should not have to do it due to an iOS update.

Interesting find here, phone says I have X amount of storage and when it's plugged into iTunes, iTunes says I have Y amount of storage. I have dry little other usage, 869.3 my, but I have 90 apps with 4.44 GB of usage.

Would the new delete and restore auto feature within the new iOS is causing this?

And my iPad just "gave" me back over 1.8 GB of storage and I deleted nothing from the iPad.
