Storage constantly decreasing (Public beta 1)

Something very strange is happening with storage. On About My Mac, it is showing 107.64GB available, but on system information only 12GB, and this keeps decreasing, with "Other" continually increasing....which is now at 207GB! Whenever I delete something, about my Mac storage increases, but my actual storage available decreases and the "Other" storage increases. I can't find a way out of this...especially as I'd like to install the next beta but apparently need 18GB of free storage. Can anyone help please? Thanks.

By chance do you have Time Machine on? It may be snapshots or in my case, it's iCloud Drive, steady redownloading files that's been in the cloud and this has been an issue on Dev Beta 1 al the way to Dev Beta 3

Why not update to the latest beta?
