iPhone 8/Plus Storage sizes offered for iPhone 8 following sept event

I am in market for a 256gb iPhone 8. (refuse to give up home button)

I was hoping there would be some awesome last minute sales before next weeks event. I have not come across any.


I fear apple will, like normal, lower the offered storage sizes on older phones, once the new ones come out.

But with the rumor of 512 being the new high end, could 256 stay in the 8 for the next year?

Whats my best chance of getting a discounted iPhone 8? Carriers will sell off old product at discount once new ones are announced, correct? Could I just call them and see what they had leftover in inventory? What kind of discount should I expect?

Maybe apple will just keep the 256 offering and lower price?

You’re right, I stand corrected.

With only 64/256 on the iPhone 8, I don’t think Apple will cut the storage options. Cut colors maybe.
