I️ have 29 GB of free space on my 256 GB iPhone 7. After downloading iOS 11.1, I get this popup like once a day. I still have plenty of room for photos. Is this an actual warning when I️ hit a threshold, an advertisement for apple to push a higher iCloud storage tier or is it a bug? Anyone else seeing this?

I have seen this already. Not that annoying. But it happens when your available space is 10% or lower.
I do hate apple’s incentive to push cloud storage and say “this is the solution” when I clearly know where is the problem.

I erased and restored my iPhone from a backup as was suggested here. I had close to 29gig of system storage files. Now I’m down to less than 6.9gb. Let’s see how long this last.
