So after refreshing constantly today I think I noticed the macbooks and macbook pros move to the top from the bottom of the store. I could also just be dellusional at this point from all the waiting.

Don't know about that, but it seems like Macbook is slowly catching up in supplies. Before the Japanese site listed 3-7 days delivery, not it is only 3-5 days.

Seems they forget put the Aperture on it.
 
It might have more to do with supplies or some other marketing choice and nothing to do with core 2, we'll see. I can always hope :D

Edit: Aperture just showed up. Sneaky sneaky apple.

it was not that way 20minutes ago HMMMM lets see what happens in the morning

and now arpeture banner is up
 
My guess is no Macbook Pros until 2007, and hell will freeze over before anyone will get a faster Macbook!

With the way the weather's been this past summer (hot July, rainy August, hot September) I wouldn't be amazed if hell did in fact freeze over twice already ;)
