I'm sure this has been discussed, and I tried searching, but I cannot get a clear answer.

I'd like to know if and how I can store my usernames/passwords into sites on my iphone. I'm just so tired of having to put it in every single time. I have 2.1 firmware, btw.

I don't know what you are referring to. Since Day 1 all my iPhone's have kept my passwords for sites like MacRumors, LiveJournal, etc I just go to the webpage and I'm logged in. Have you checked your Safari settings? Make sure Enable Cookies for Visited sites is enabled. :)

I use 1Password for the iPhone. It stores logins, credit cards, identity info, notes etc. It has a built in browser so you can open 1P, choose the login, then browse right to that site.

It also syncs with 1P on your mac to keep everything coordinated. Awesome app.
