I'm on Sprint, iPhone 5 running with the evasi0n jailbreak. I had heard a rumor that if your iPhone was jailbroken, the Storm Shield app won't work.

Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor? Is anyone using the Storm Shield app on your jailbroken iPhone?

Thanks!!

I just bought it. Working fine on my jailbroken iPhone 5.

i know this not the point of this thread, however what is so great about the app that it costs 2.99?

I have the weather app from the weather channel and like that one.

Well, a selling point for me is that it's a weather alert system. Based on your location applicable alerts are delivered to you. For instance, you aren't getting alerts if bad weather is in the eastern part of your county while you live in the west part of your county.

It also acts as a weather radio. I.E., you're getting real time audio information like you would if you had a radio. At least that's my understanding of it. It was enough for me anyway.
