No big changes from last year, no fast charging out of the box, dont really know how much bigger the battery is or Ram is in it. Didnt even tell us if they are offering faster wireless charging. Not happy about this years lineup.

Will i will be going for the X Max, yes only cause i need the bigger one. But i will think about keeping this one for years instead of upgrading every year from now on.

They said during the keynote that they wanted users to keep their phones for as long as possible since it’s more environmentally-friendly. I don’t think they’d have any problem with users buying a 256GB or 512GB iPhone X Max and using it for a few years.

Why do you need the bigger one?

I hate to be that guy, but sadly the market let's Apple charge these higher prices. People are willing to pay. Apple is a business and its duty to shareholders is to maximize their return on their investments. You don't become a trillion dollar valued company with pricing to accommodate people and be a little more "nicer."

Bluetooth 5.0. I bet they bumped it to 4gb. Looks like it supports T-Mobile's new 600mhz band 71? I'm sure there's lot of little changes we'll hear about soon that they didn't cover.

Honestly, you got played, and that’s on you. They intentionally only put out a smaller X last year knowing that people would buy it for the new design even if they wanted something bigger, then they release the bigger version this year that you “need” to buy.

If people knew that they wanted/needed a larger phone last year they should have waited. The money you would have saved would have almost paid for the phone you “need” this year.

Well then they should stop announcing new phones every year. That would really be good for the environment. Actually, folding the company up would be the best for the environment. Think they’ll do that?

It’s not like older models end up in a landfill. They’re either recycled or passed on to other users.

One slide did say “improved wireless charging.” What that means, who knows.

Other than that, I don’t get why the prices surprise some people. Modern smartphones have more technology in them than modern laptops. Size is irrelevant to price. It is the most used piece of technology for most people. It’s still cheaper than their laptops and certainly cheaper than computer decades ago. Do I wish they were more affordable? Yes! But I also realize what we have in our hands, what it’s capable of, and how it’s made me more successful. It’s an astonishing achievement and one I’m willing to pay for.

the thing is, in my case I'm paying the same price as I was last year, just the new model.

im paying $100 more, lets not forget about the $100 in tax we also pay. So all together $1350 is not friendly when 2 years ago it was $869.99. $500 increase in 2 years is wayyyyyyyyyy to much.

But i count those as keeping up with the tech days, going from $869.99 to $1250 is a huge jump in 2 cycles.

Read the news, bruh. Trade war with China and you’re eating it, not apple.

it nots really when there are a ton of other companys offering the same tech just in different ways but offereing way more more for your money.. Its very surprising that 2 years ago it was $869.99 and now its $1250. That is a HUGEEEE jump. $200 a year in increase. No thats not right. I have been a upgrade every year guy, but after this. I wont be. Yes i will still be getting the MAx but i will be keeping that for years now.

I get it, they need the price per unit to be higher since sales wont be increasing year over year much. So they need to make more money per unit. I get it, but what they are going to see is less upgrades year after year now and i will be one of them....

No one else is even coming close to the technology offered in the X and newer devices. The closest they get is displays. That’s it.

display, ram, storage(SD Card), 5G LTE sooner, price, CPU not as good but still worthy, camera is as good or better. . Faster wireless and wired charging (in the box)

I am not an android fan but when it comes down to it, its how it performs in real world and for most people they dont give a **** what is under the hood, as long as it texts, browse the web and take pics to post. which every single phone on the market can do.
