I usually shut down my iPad Pro 10.5 overnight. This time, for some reason I left it on. It was near a full charge - somewhere in the 90% range.

When I went to turn it on this morning, it would not get past the Apple logo. I push on the power button again to shut if off and restart it.

After it restarted, it came up showing 1% left in the battery. I plugged in the power, and later shut it down again for a faster charge.

It then came on by itself showing a 1% charge, and they restarted showing 93%.

Anybody experience something like this? Should I be concerned? it seems to be working fine. Now.

Sounds odd. I’d take it to an Apple store and have it checked. Battery charge level changing abruptly is a sign of a failing battery. It doesn’t mean you have a bad battery, but it is worth checking.

You can also look at how apps are using battery power. You might have a bad actor.

Go to Settings then Battery to see how apps are using battery power.
