Hi there ...

I just noticed that my white Macbook (1,83 Core Duo, 2 Gigs Ram) just wouldn't stop charging, even if the battery is loaded to 100%?

Even coconutbattery tells me the battery is loaded to full capacity but the battery still gets charged ...

Anyone experienced this? ... I already tried to reset my PMU unit, but no change ...

cheers, Max

What is telling you that it's still charging? The menu bar icon? The Magsafe glow? Both?

Have you calibrated your battery recently (or at all)?

Well, I'd say everything ;)

The Magsafe-glow, the menubar icon, coconut battery and the system profiler ;)

I calibrated my battery just one week ago ...

sometimes unplugging the magsafe adapter will change the menubar icon from 99% and charging to 100% and completely charged. doing this will also change the amber light to green.

shutting down my computer usually fixes whatever problems i'm having, too, but if you've already tried that, why not just give Apple a ring?
