Strange behaviour from my Apple TV2

I recently got an apple tv and am having a couple of problems.

It is connected to my AV reciever via HDMI and connects to my wifi network.

It seems to forget my wireless network all the time, every day or so, i start it up and it says it's not connected to a network and I have to go in and type my password in etc.

Second thing, when i'm in that room and watching TV, I notice the Apple TV light constantly turning itself on and off. It even does this when the AV receiver is off.

Any ideas why these things are happening and how i can fix them?

It could be some kind of handshake issue, but turning on and off sounds faulty. I'd exchange it for another one.

I agree, return it and if you have the same troubles with the new one then you know it's not the aTV's fault.
